Hello, my name is Trina McLeod and I like to make art in my spare time. I'm an avid fan of all things sci-fi and fantasy so most of my artwork generally tends to be related to that. I'm mostly known as twocupsofsugar on most social media sites.

Why did I make this?

I've been drawing for most of my life but stopped about 5 years ago due to falling into the daily grind of life and just loosing the drive to create. This year, (2024) I decided I wanted to improve my artwork so I started posting on social media to share my work. I have a pretty bad habit of comparing my work to other artists and the nature of social media, such as notes, reblogs, followers, creates an environment by which my worth as an artist's is determined by how much engage my account gets.(at least in my mind) and after a while it started to get to me.

So I figured I'd carve out my own little creative space for myself, where none of that really matters. When I was a kid, just mindlessly surfing the internet I used to love stumbling on someone's personal blog, or website and finding all of the little stories, or projects they liked to work on. It was like finding those little mom and pop shops in a bustling city where the weirdness was authentic and genuine. I kinda wanted to re-capture that vibe. Anyway, take a look around, and enjoy your time here. Hopefully you'll have just as much fun exploring this place as I did making it.

What can I find Here?

Outside of drawing, I have a lot of other hobbies, particularly writing, retrogaming, weaving, and FPV drones. (unusual collection of hobbies I know! but that's what i'm interested in so you might stumble across some of that other stuff too. I also tend to talk about those things more other on my blog which you can read if for some strange reason your interested in what i have to say. (i'm still in the process of porting my old blog from blogger to bearblog so its a bit barren at the moment)
